A practical guide
Telehealth Information
All sessions are held online through a secure video platform, so you can receive support from a private space that works for you.
What telehealth is
Telehealth sessions are held over a secure video platform. You and Faith meet by video at your scheduled time, from locations that are appropriate for Virginia care.
What you need
Plan for a private space, a stable internet connection, and a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone. Headphones can help protect privacy.
How to prepare
Try your device ahead of time, charge it, and choose a place where you can speak freely. Have water nearby and give yourself a few quiet minutes before and after the session when possible.
Privacy and confidentiality
Use a private place and a secure, password-protected connection when you can. Confidentiality expectations and limits apply to every telehealth session.
If the connection drops
Stay where you are if it is safe, and try to reconnect. Faith will use the agreed backup way to reach you if the video connection does not return. You can talk through a backup plan before your first session.
